How to Register a Vehicle Here
New vehicles must be registered to comply with statutory rules. Process is typically 7-15 days.

Fill Form 20 at the RTO or on the Parivahan portal (dealers often do this for you).

Submit documents, road tax and registration fee.

Vehicle inspection — an officer verifies the chassis and engine numbers.

RC issued as a smart-card / digital RC within 7–15 days. No new vehicle should leave the dealer without an HSRP affixation certificate.

Important: Old Vehicle Rules in Rohtak (NCR)
Rohtak district falls within the Delhi-NCR region, where diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years are not allowed to ply, under NGT / Supreme Court directions.
