Important: Old Vehicle Rules in Hapur (NCR)

Hapur is a Delhi-NCR district, so diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years are barred from plying, under NGT / Supreme Court orders. Hapur is specifically named — alongside Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr — among the Uttar Pradesh NCR districts where the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) enforces the denial of fuel to end-of-life vehicles at pumps from 1 November 2026. Such vehicles must be de-registered, moved out of NCR with an NOC, or scrapped — so always check a used car's age and registration date before buying.
