Worked Example: How Profile Matching Saves ₹38,000+ on a ₹6 Lakh Used Car Loan

Suppose you are a self-employed trader buying a 5-year-old Hyundai Creta with a ₹6,00,000 loan over 5 years (60 months), a 735 CIBIL score, and strong 6-month bank balances but no ITR:

  • If you apply blindly to a standard private bank: Your application is rejected for missing 2-year ITRs, costing you 5–10 CIBIL points from a hard inquiry.
  • If you walk into a local high-rate NBFC NIP counter: You are approved at 16.00% p.a. (EMI: ₹14,591/mo; Total 5-year interest: ₹2,75,460).
  • If you route via Nxcar to Kotak Mahindra Bank's ABB Surrogate or TVS Credit's 750+ NIP slab: You qualify at 12.50% to 13.50% p.a. (EMI: ₹13,499–₹13,806/mo; Total 5-year interest: ₹2,09,940–₹2,28,360) — saving ₹47,100 to ₹65,520 in interest without uploading an ITR.

Frequently Asked Questions (27-Lender Comparison Calculator)

How does Nxcar's 27-lender used car loan comparison calculator work?+

Unlike generic EMI calculators that compute a single interest rate in isolation, Nxcar's comparison calculator takes your loan amount, tenure, CIBIL score band, income documentation track (salary slips, ITR, or No Income Proof), and car age, then evaluates all 27 partner banks, SFBs, and NBFCs simultaneously — ranking them by approval likelihood and lowest monthly EMI.

Why are some lenders marked 'Unlikely for Profile' when I change my CIBIL score or car age?+

Private sector banks (such as HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank) generally enforce a minimum 700 CIBIL cutoff, formal income proof, and a 10-year car age cap at loan maturity. When you select a 650–699 CIBIL score, No Income Proof, or a 10–15 year old car, our calculator automatically promotes the NBFCs and banks (like TVS Credit, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Piramal Finance, and Equitas SFB) whose credit grids actually approve your profile.

What is the EMI for a ₹5 lakh used car loan for 5 years across different lenders?+

On a ₹5,00,000 loan over 60 months (5 years), your monthly EMI ranges from ₹10,624/month at 10.00% (Axis Bank ₹10L+ slab rate) and ₹10,996/month at 11.50% (HDFC Bank / TVS Credit prime) up to ₹11,895/month at 15.00% (mid-tier NBFC NIP track) and ₹13,530/month at 21.01% (high-risk NBFC ceiling).

Does using this comparison calculator affect my CIBIL score?+

No. Filtering lenders and comparing EMIs on this page is 100% anonymous and does not trigger any credit bureau inquiry. Even when you click 'Check Eligibility' and submit your details, our lending desk routes your application only to the single matched lender.

How accurate are the estimated interest rates shown for each lender?+

The rates come directly from Nxcar's October 2026 partner annexure across all 27 banks and NBFCs — including exact published cells for TVS Credit's CIBIL × Income Proof matrix, Axis Bank's ₹10L+ (10.00%) and ₹20L+ (11.25%) slabs, IDFC First Bank's ₹20L+ (11.49%) slab, and Tata Capital's Velocity (11.25%) program. Final sanctioned rates depend on physical car valuation and bank statement verification.

Can I pre-fill this calculator for a specific borrower scenario?+

Yes. You can pass URL parameters such as ?amount=800000&cibil=650-699&income=nip&age=8-10 to share an exact profile configuration with a co-applicant or car dealer.
